A woman leaving Hilltop can enter parole or mandatory supervision, or discharge after the sentence reaches maximum expiration. Parole follows a discretionary Board decision and continues under conditions. Mandatory supervision is a different form of supervised release governed by sentence rules. Hilltop Projected Release Meaning
The Projected Release Date estimates when incarceration will end if parole does not occur sooner. TDCJ’s Classification and Records Office calculates it under the offense title and date. When a caller lacks the TDCJ or SID number, TDCJ requires the exact date of birth for a phone inquiry. Its informational email route can provide the number, location, offense, current and prior incarceration information, and projected date, but not photographs. Hilltop Transfer Before Release
Hilltop offers CHANGES, pre-release, and reentry planning. These programs prepare people for transition but do not establish that a release happened. Hilltop Unit Facility Facts
Hilltop Unit is a TDCJ Correctional Institutions Division prison for women. The official directory lists capacity at 553 and custody levels G1 through G3, outside trusty, and youthful offenders. These categories describe institutional placement. They do not forecast release timing or state how many people leave.
Hilltop is co-located with Crain, Murray, and Woodman. Co-location does not merge their records or roles. Confirm the unit name on the individual result, especially when a transfer occurred near a planned date.
Coryell’s Gatesville Custody Network
Coryell contains six TDCJ prisons in addition to the county jail. Woodman performs female diagnostic intake. Crain handles intake and serves as a regional release site. O’Daniel still uses legacy code MV after its Mountain View rename. Hilltop, Murray, Hughes, and the other units remain distinct facilities.
This dense system explains why a Gatesville location can appear during intake, confinement, transfer, or release processing. Geography alone cannot settle status. A current Hilltop listing means state custody. A Crain transfer may mean more processing. Only the audited personal record, completed date, release documentation, and any supervision result confirm what happened.
